The Campaign

The UK Government is introducing a policy from April 2017 that will restrict entitlement to child tax credits for the first two children and to force women to prove that their third child was born as a result of rape.

SNP MP Alison Thewliss has been leading a campaign for the UK Government to end the two child policy and rape clause. Her campaign has won backing from a number of MPs and MSPs from across the political spectrum who agree that this vile, unworkable policy should be dropped immediately.
